Hi, I’m Samin Ghiasi.

I’m an artist and creative professional currently transitioning into agroecology, horticulture and urban agriculture in Paris.

Nature has been a recurring thread throughout my work for years, from landscape photography and visual projects to more recent explorations of ecology and living systems. In 2026, I decided to bring that interest more directly into my professional life.

I’m currently training at École du Breuil, where I completed an 11-day permaculture programme and am studying organic orchard and vegetable growing in urban environments. I’m also continuing my education around gardens, landscape and nature in the city through the Cours d’Adultes de Paris, while building hands-on experience in urban agriculture.

Before this transition, I spent nearly a decade working in photography, including fashion, visual storytelling and production, before moving into digital marketing and growth between London and Paris.

From image-making to living systems

My previous careers still shape how I work: photography taught me to observe, while marketing taught me to research, communicate, structure ideas and build projects.

Today, my focus is increasingly on plants, soil, food, biodiversity and the relationship between people and the living world, particularly productive and ecological spaces such as vegetable gardens, orchards, urban farms, nurseries and edible landscapes.

Past work in ethical growth

For several years, I worked across growth strategy, content, SEO, lifecycle, CRM, UX and conversion for B2B and B2C organisations.

I was particularly interested in building systems around clarity, usefulness and long-term value rather than growth at any cost.

That work now forms part of my professional archive, but the skills, experiences and relationships I gained continue to inform how I approach projects today.
